1. Is using natural gas for heating really cheaper than electrical heating?
A: As various nations grow fearful towards nuclear energy, a nuclear-free nation is the objective of different governments around the world. A: When excessively hot water passes through a gas boiler water dish, this can easily damage the water dish and reduce the life of the water heater. Some venders even use plastic material for the water tray because of cost considerations, and the heat resistance and life of the product can only be imagined. Furthermore, the setup of a gas boiler is to never let the pilot light extinguish. That way when water passes through the water dish, gas will ignite and heat the water. As for the gas consumption and the lowest temperature, that depends on the brand.

4. Why is constant temperature type gas boiler recommended as a match for Tayjyi? Would other brands of constant temperature type gas boiler be appropriate?
A: The structures of constant type gas boiler from different brands are different. After discussing and actually testing constant temperature gas boilers from different brands, Tayjyi engineers determined that constant temperature type gas boilers are the most appropriate. Constant temperature type gas boiler from other brands can also generally work. As for the minimum temperature, customers must inquire manufacture of different brands.

5. What is the standby power consumption of Tayjyi? What is the working power consumption?
A: The standby power consumption for Tayjyi is approximately 0.5 W, which is about 1/8,000 of the power consumption of electric heating tub in a solar water heater. The standby power consumption is comparable to that used by an electric heating tube microcomputer monitoring system. When the solenoid valve is activated to change water pathway the total power consumption is approximately 32 W. The power consumption time and the water use time is almost proportional (solenoid valve will automatically shut off after water has stopped flowing for three minutes).

6. Regarding water heating systems, how can consumers save energy?
A: Single outlet type water faucet is a convenient cold and hot water faucet used by consumers. Regardless of what type of water heating system, hot water will flow when the hot water faucet is activated. This action will activate the heater. If this action is short, such as the time it takes to wash hands, the action would be finished before the hot water arrives. Thus, the activation of the heater is a waste. Consumers should make a habit of switching a single outlet water faucet to cold when only using water for a brief period of time. That way the water in the hot water pipe will not flow and the heater will not activate.

7. How can consumers save energy with Tayjyi hot water system?
A: Tayjyi controls the solenoid valve based on the water temperature in the hot water pipe. This in turn controls the actions of the gas boiler. If hot water use is continuous, the hot water in the pipe continues to flow, and gas boiler activation occurs only once (before the hot water from the solar water heater storage tank arrives for the first time). This reduces gas consumption. Thus, this lowers energy and monetary cost to a minimum when the entire family showers within the same period of time.
